J-Robin, the original author of the drama ‘Cooking Soldier’, has shared his thoughts regarding some of the reactions surrounding the work’s adaptation.
On the 13th, J-Robin stated via personal SNS, “It seems a very small number of people are disappointed that the drama differs from the original. However, I am someone who believes it actually should be different.”

He also asked for understanding regarding the drama’s production environment. “There must have been countless dilemmas on the filming set. Since this is the result of everyone’s hard work within limited conditions, please enjoy the original as the original and the drama as the drama,” he shared.
J-Robin also expressed his satisfaction with the series, saying, “Objectively speaking, isn’t the drama fun? I am 200% satisfied.” He added, “As a fan of the original, I’m glad another piece of content has been created. Please show your support for ‘Cooking Soldier’!”
Meanwhile, based on the original work of the same name, ‘Cooking Soldier’ is a drama that tells the story of Private Kang Seong-jae, who trades his rifle for a kitchen knife and his gear belt for an apron to grow into a legendary cooking soldier.
