Actress Park Eun-bin has shared the reason behind her reunion with Director Yoo In-sik, the mastermind behind her hit series ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’.
The production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Wonderfools’ took place on the morning of the 12th at a hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The event was attended by Director Yoo In-sik and actors Park Eun-bin, Choi Dae-hoon, Lim Sung-jae, Kim Hae-sook, Son Hyun-joo, Jung Yi-seo, Choi Yoon-ji, and Bae Na-ra.
‘Wonderfools’ is a superpower comic adventure set at the end of the century in 1999. It follows a group of local oddballs who accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to save the world from villains threatening peace.
The series has already garnered high expectations before its release, thanks to the reunion of Park Eun-bin and Director Yoo In-sik, as well as a production team known for creating beloved characters in ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ and ‘Dr. Romantic’.
In the show, Park Eun-bin plays Chaeni, the granddaughter of the most famous restaurant, Keunsonsikdang, in Haeseong City. Having suffered from heart disease since childhood, she grew up as the official troublemaker of Haeseong City, living with a reckless personality after giving up on everything.

While living as a local fixture in Haeseong City, Chaeni unexpectedly gains the ability to teleport.
Discussing her second collaboration with Director Yoo In-sik, Park Eun-bin revealed, “I started this project because I wanted to have fun. Above all, I thought the script was ingenious when I first saw it. I felt that bringing this to life would be a fun experience for me.”
Park Eun-bin also explained that compared to many of the characters she has portrayed in the past, Chaeni has a much simpler way of thinking.
She expressed confidence, adding, “I had many joyful experiences while getting to know this character’s world. I believe viewers will be able to share that same joy if they follow her journey.”
Meanwhile, ‘Wonderfools’ will be released on Netflix on the 15th.
