Singer Park Hyun-gyu has ramped up the excitement for his upcoming release with a special busking performance by the Han River!
On the 16th at 2 PM, Park Hyun-gyu held a surprise busking event at Seoul’s Yeouido Han River Park.
He kicked off the show with a warm performance of Sung Si-kyung’s ‘It Would Be Nice’ and then turned up the heat with Yoon Jong-shin’s ‘Uphill Road’, a song that previously went viral during his appearance on JTBC’s ‘Sing Again 2’.
The highlight of the day was the pre-release performance of his new song ‘Aurora (青春)’, set to drop on the 20th. Park Hyun-gyu introduced ‘Aurora’ as “a song that brings to mind the moment light slowly spreads from afar while passing through dark times.” The performance reportedly left a lasting impression, capturing the emotions of youth through a sophisticated melody.
Park Hyun-gyu’s new track ‘Aurora’ will be available on various music sites on the 20th at 6 PM. The song celebrates the beauty of youth even in its incompleteness, comparing the process of colliding and breaking to the creation of starlight and the aurora.
Park Hyun-gyu debuted in 2016 as part of the vocal group Bromance. He later gained widespread popularity after finishing in 4th place on ‘Sing Again 2 – Unknown Singer’ in 2022.
