Actor Park Jihoon’s lead role in ‘Cooking Soldier’ has officially surpassed the viewership ratings of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Scarecrow’ aired on the same day.

In the 5th episode of the TVING original ‘Cooking Soldier’ aired on the 25th, Park Jihoon, playing the role of Kang Seong-jae, successfully navigated various crises. As a result, the episode recorded an average viewership rating of 7.9% nationwide and 8.8% in the Seoul metropolitan area. Meanwhile, the 11th episode of ‘Scarecrow’ aired on the same day recorded 7.4% nationwide.

In this episode, Kang Seong-jae encountered Republic of Korea Army TV reporter Jung Min-ah (played by Jeon So-young), creating some romantic sparks. Later, while on a reward vacation, Kang Seong-jae added a heartwarming touch by continuously researching tteokbokki to help his mother.
