Actor Park Jihoon, who sparked the “Danjong Oppa” fever with the movie ‘The King and the Man’, has successfully completed his return to music activities after three years!
Starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on April 30, Park Jihoon took the stage on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on May 3. He performed the title track ‘Bodyelse’ from his first single ‘RE:FLECT’, which was released on April 29.
The new song captures the moment of realizing that strange emotions felt in everyday life were actually for “you.” Park Jihoon completed the dreamy and sophisticated atmosphere of ‘Bodyelse’ through a performance highlighting his beautiful dance lines and sensory stage production. He left viewers in awe with his detailed choreography, delicate facial expressions, and his timeless, born-to-be-idol visuals.
Park Jihoon also achieved impressive results with this release. The title track ‘Bodyelse’ entered the Melon TOP 100 and ranked high on the HOT 100. B-side tracks ‘Watercolor’ and ‘I can’t hold your hand anymore’ also made it onto the charts. Furthermore, every song from the single entered the Bugs real-time chart, proving Park Jihoon’s enduring popularity as a singer.
After successfully finishing his music show promotions, Park Jihoon will return to the small screen on May 11 with the new drama ‘Becoming a Legendary Culinary Soldier’, premiering on TVING. He is expected to deliver a great performance as Private Kang Seong-jae, who wears an apron instead of a belt and holds a kitchen knife instead of a gun.
