Actress Park Kyung-hye has revealed the raw reality of her life after living on her own for six months.

On the 17th, a video titled “Bathroom cleaning and repairs that started light and ended heavy” was posted on her YouTube channel, ‘경혜볼래’.

In the video, Park Kyung-hye started with a deep sigh, saying, “Today, I’m going to try cleaning the bathroom, which I’ve been putting off and putting off.” She confessed, “I’ve been living alone for six months, but between filming movies, dramas, and working part-time jobs, I was always exhausted when I got home.” She added that she postponed the cleaning for so long that she didn’t even feel clean while washing.

The actual state of the bathroom was shocking, with mold spreading across the walls and grime filling the grout. Park Kyung-hye expressed the struggles of a real-life solo dweller, saying, “The mold is seriously a war.”

Her cleaning gear was quite professional. She prepared everything from mold remover and scrapers to silicone sealant, masking tape, and drain filters. She bravely began the task, declaring, “These guys are a team today.”

She shared the reality of cleaning, noting, “I thought it would just get clean instantly if I applied something and sprayed water like I see on Reels, but that’s absolutely not the case.” She also mentioned that the smell of bleach was stronger than expected, leading her to focus on the cleaning while wearing a mask and rubber gloves.

Specifically, she installed a filter to prevent the drain from clogging and reorganized the positions of her toothbrush holder and bathroom shelves. She strengthened her resolve, saying, “Let’s not be ashamed of my bathroom anymore when friends come over.”

During the process, Park Kyung-hye laughed as if she had reached a state of enlightenment, saying, “The advantage of cleaning is that you can sleep really well. The swelling goes down and you stop talking as much.”

After a four-day struggle, the bathroom was completely transformed. The grout and silicone looked brand new, and rusted areas were cleanly removed. She couldn’t hide her satisfaction, saying, “Now it’s clean enough that I could actually sleep in the bathroom.”

She continued, “What I really felt this time is that the best cleaning is not letting the grime build up in the first place. It really doesn’t come off as easily as you’d think.” She added, “Now I feel like I should clean the bathroom once a week.”

Meanwhile, Park Kyung-hye previously made headlines by revealing that she started living alone in a 6-pyeong studio with a deposit of 50 million won and a monthly rent (including maintenance) of approximately 590,000 won.
