Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel, and Lee Mu-jin are bursting with anticipation for their next travel destination!
Ahead of the June 9 premiere of MBC Every1’s ‘Great Guide 3’, a pre-release video was dropped showing the cast hunting for hints about where they are headed. While most are unaware that the destination is Ethiopia, the four members show off their unique romanticism and excitement for a “real African journey,” leaving fans curious about the upcoming episodes.
The youngest member, Lee Mu-jin, showed off some sharp detective skills. While spying on the production team’s maps and books in the meeting room, he pinpointed the answer, noting that “the mountains of Ethiopia look prominent on the map,” making the staff sweat. He added with youthful confidence, “After experiencing all the hardships possible during the previous season of ‘Great Guide’, I’ve developed a spirit of challenge for a bigger world. It’s fun to level up!”
Meanwhile, Choi Daniel caught attention as he focused on physical training to prepare for the extreme trip. Meeting a PD while running, he explained, “I’ve had two knee surgeries, so my muscles are weak, and it shows more as I get older. I need to do extreme activities during the trip, but I always end up last, falling behind Myung-soo hyung, so I have to build up my strength.” Despite the PD’s warning that this trip is “Advanced Level Africa,” he remained romantic, saying, “Every rough journey has remained like a scar, a ‘travel pain’. I’m looking forward to what kind of travel pain I’ll get this time.”
The eldest, Park Myung-soo, showed his special affection for the program by treating the production crew to a generous dinner. Having experienced Rwanda, which he called “Mild Africa,” in the previous season, he remained unfazed by warnings that this trip would be “Spicy.” He boasted his confidence, saying, “I have no fear of Africa. I wouldn’t go if it were an ordinary country. You have to go to places like that for it to be a real trip.”
On the other hand, “nature man” Kim Dae-ho was the only one whose destination was revealed. As soon as he found out it was Ethiopia, his eyes sparkled. “A volcano erupted there last year. It’s been my dream to see the bright red magma lights up close,” he said, expressing his burning desire to see an active volcano. However, upon hearing that reaching the volcano requires overcoming massive obstacles, he joked, “Myung-soo hyung is going to explode,” predicting the eldest’s chaotic struggle against nature and sparking laughter. The show airs June 9 at 8:30 PM.
