Park Seo-jin brought both laughter and tears while preparing a special birthday party for his mother.
In a recent episode of KBS2’s ‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’, the chaotic yet heartwarming process of preparing the birthday party was revealed. The atmosphere heated up early on with the appearance of Chu Hyuk-jin, who became a couple with Hyo-jung during the ‘Mr. House Husband’ meeting special, and Yoyomi, who previously shared a subtle spark with Park Seo-jin.
Park Seo-jin invited Chu Hyuk-jin over to plan a surprise birthday event for his mother. However, Hyo-jung fought back by calling Yoyomi to join them.
Park Seo-jin couldn’t hide his flustered reaction to Yoyomi’s unexpected appearance, and his awkward behavior during a phone call sparked plenty of laughs. He even showed a bit of a grudge toward Yoyomi, who had rejected his feelings in a previous episode of ‘Mr. House Husband’.
The four of them split into teams to get ready. Hyo-jung and Yoyomi accompanied the mother to the hair salon, while Park Seo-jin and Chu Hyuk-jin took over the kitchen to prepare the birthday feast.
The mother was thrilled with her new look and couldn’t stop smiling. Meanwhile, the mood turned warm as Chu Hyuk-jin carefully massaged the father’s legs. The father also shared a touching moment, becoming emotional as he remembered his third son who had passed away.
On the other hand, the kitchen was a different story. Park Seo-jin challenged himself to cook seaweed soup for the first time in his life, but he failed miserably at measuring the seaweed, creating a “seaweed bomb” that filled the entire pot. Park Seo-jin was left speechless by the shocking visual and taste, while Chu Hyuk-jin broke a sweat trying to save the dish.
