Park Sung-woong is sensing some suspicious movements and starting to have serious doubts.
In episode 8 of the KBS 2TV mini-series ‘Simu-myeon Yeon-ri-ri’ (Directed by Choi Yeon-soo / Written by Song Jung-rim, Wang Hye-ji / Produced by Sim Story), airing on the 14th at 9:50 PM, Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) reaches a major turning point as he asks for help from the village head of Yeon-ri-ri, Im Ju-hyeong (played by Lee Seo-hwan).
Previously, Seong Tae-hoon began to suspect something was off at ‘Mat Story,’ the company he had dedicated his entire life to. He discovered that field manager Noh Hyeon-gap (played by Jung Sun-chul) was a former employee of the Yeon-ri-ri branch and caught evidence that Director Choi (played by Min Sung-wook) was intentionally sabotaging his cabbage farming. Following this, Seong Tae-hoon found himself at a crossroads after receiving a mysterious proposal from Executive Director Bae (played by Bae Ki-bum).
In today’s broadcast, Seong Tae-hoon struggles to deliver supplies obtained through ‘Mat Story’ to the residents of Yeon-ri-ri, speeding up the progress of the project. All eyes are now on whether Seong Tae-hoon has decided to team up with Executive Director Bae after much deliberation.

Meanwhile, although Seong Tae-hoon and Im Ju-hyeong have grown closer, Im Ju-hyeong’s resentment toward ‘Mat Story’ remains, creating a subtle tension between the two. A contrasting atmosphere was captured between a pensive Seong Tae-hoon and Im Ju-hyeong, who looks at him with suspicion.
It remains to be seen if Im Ju-hyeong, who was betrayed by ‘Mat Story’ in the past, will trust Seong Tae-hoon and accept the company’s support. Depending on the decision of Im Ju-hyeong, the long-time pillar of Yeon-ri-ri, the atmosphere of the village is expected to undergo a major change.
Meanwhile, as ‘Mat Story’s’ Yeon-ri-ri project officially kicks off, anticipation is building over the true nature of the plan Executive Director Bae is preparing.
