PD Kim Tae-ho’s ‘Crazy Tour’ has come to an end, hitting its lowest viewership ratings despite a flashy finale.
The ENA variety show ‘Crazy Tour’ wrapped up its final episode on May 2 with a rating of 0.4% (according to Nielsen Korea), marking the program’s lowest point. While episodes 1 to 3 maintained the 0.7% range, the show saw a decline, finishing its 10-episode run with a peak of 0.8% and a low of 0.4%.
‘Crazy Tour’ is a spin-off that expands the universe of ‘Earth Marble World Tour,’ focusing on journeys in search of truly ‘crazy experiences.’ The cast, featuring singer Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), actor Kim Mu-yeol, creator Pani Bottle, and WINNER’s Lee Seung-hoon, traveled between Australia and Turkey to tackle high-difficulty missions.
The final episode showcased the last leg of the journey in Fethiye, Turkey, featuring intense missions like hot air balloon skydiving. The members gave it their all in a game where the penalty was jumping into a pool in the dead of winter, ultimately resulting in everyone taking the plunge and bringing laughs with their ‘loyalty bromance.’
Despite these efforts, the show failed to see a rebound in ratings. With PD Kim Tae-ho’s recent projects like JTBC’s ‘My Name is Gabriel’ ending in the 0% range and MBC’s ‘Manitto Club’ finishing at 0.9%, ‘Crazy Tour’ is also being evaluated as having fallen short of expectations.
