POW is making waves across China, continuing their momentum as global trendsetters through close communication with local fans.
POW (Yochi, Hyunbin, Jungbin, Dongyeon, and Hong) successfully completed a series of fan signing events and fan meetings in major Chinese cities, starting with Hangzhou and Nanjing in March, followed by Guangzhou and Shenzhen in April, and most recently Changsha and Chongqing on May 9 and 10. After seeing the intense heat during their visits to Guangzhou and Shanghai last year, their local fandom has expanded rapidly, leading them to visit China almost every month this year.
To amp up the excitement, POW prepared unique programs for each city. In Changsha and Chongqing, they hosted face-to-face signing sessions, photo times, and Q&A sessions, along with a special ‘HI-BYE’ event where members made eye contact with each fan, creating unforgettable memories. The members’ natural chemistry and playful charms were more than enough to trigger an explosive response from the local fans.
Expressing their gratitude for the support, POW shared, “We are moved every single moment by the warm welcome at the airports and the enthusiastic cheering in every city we visit.” They added, “We will continue to work hard to repay this great love through good music and various activities.”
POW is also showcasing their artistic capabilities through the project ‘The Demo Tape’. On the 5th, Jungbin’s self-composed song ‘WHY’ was released as the first track of the project, earning praise from listeners and solidifying their presence as ‘growth-type artists’.
POW is a multinational K-pop group that debuted in 2023. They released their new song ‘WHY’ on the 5th.
