Actress Kim Min-kyung, a former Miss Korea, shared her thoughts after watching ‘I am Solo’ Season 31.
On the 14th, Kim Min-kyung posted on her SNS, “As a loyal viewer who has watched ‘I am Solo’ since Season 1, certain people in this season are scary.”
In previous episodes of Season 31, roommates Young-sook, Ok-soon, and Jung-hee faced criticism from viewers for showing a lack of respect toward other contestants, such as bad-mouthing them or taking photos even while Soon-ja was listening. This behavior continued in the broadcast on the 13th. During a running race for a “Super Date Ticket,” Young-sook lost her balance and fell just before the finish line. After returning to the room, Ok-soon cheered for Young-sook, saying, “In our hearts, Young-sook is number one!” despite Soon-ja being in the next room. Young-sook then made a baseless claim, suggesting she might have tripped over someone’s (Soon-ja’s) leg.
The three MCs of ‘I am Solo’—Defconn, Song Hae-na, and Lee Yi-kyung—sighed in disbelief. Song Hae-na, in particular, expressed anger at Young-sook’s speculation, saying, “No. Why is she doing that again? This isn’t right. Watch your words.”
Kim Min-kyung also seemed upset after watching the show. She added, “Let’s live kindly. Life is short. Let’s fill ourselves up before criticizing others,” and “There are so many lessons in dating shows. I need to stop being angry and go to Bible study.”
Meanwhile, Kim Min-kyung, born in 1981 and 45 years old this year, married a non-celebrity in November 2024. She announced her pregnancy last month.
