Rain shared that he was quite upset when he discovered his close friend KCM had been hiding his marriage.
During the May 11 episode of SBS’s ‘Ani Geunde Jinjja!’ (AGJ), Rain appeared as a guest, and KCM made a surprise appearance, showcasing their long-time friendship.
While the two were busy exposing each other’s secrets, Lee Sang-min asked, “You guys are so close, how could you hide being married for 13 years?”
KCM had previously made headlines for marrying in 2012 and having a daughter without making it public. Recalling the moment he found out, Rain said, “One day my manager asked me, ‘Did you know? KCM is married and his daughter is over ten years old.'”
Rain admitted, “I thought we were real best friends and shared so many secrets, so I was really disappointed. At first I was angry, and then I felt so hurt that I wondered, ‘What am I to this person?'” He added a sharp jab, saying that while they used to be completely informal with each other, he has decided to “create some boundaries” from now on.
Tak Jae-hoon joined in, jokingly venting to KCM, “Why hide it like you’re some top star? I reveal everything about my marriage and divorce. I could have hidden it too if I wanted to.”
Rain joked about KCM’s wife, saying, “I first saw my sister-in-law on TV. She’s so beautiful that I wondered if he ‘kidnapped’ her. I’m sure there was some opposition when they got married.”
Rain also revealed a funny secret, saying, “KCM opened a restaurant in Jeju Island, but it’s actually just an excuse to stay overnight and go fishing. He even bought a boat!”
