Singer and actor Rain opened up about his personal approach to educating his two daughters. He caught everyone’s attention by revealing that he and his wife, Kim Tae Hee, have very different parenting styles.
Rain appeared as a guest on the tvN variety show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ aired on the 20th.
He also shared his special feelings about amusement parks. Rain said, “I think the reason I loved amusement parks was that I wanted to escape reality.” He added, “I recently visited an amusement park with my daughters, and being able to buy them everything they wanted felt like healing the longing I had during my own childhood.”
Continuing with his philosophy, he said, “I hope my children don’t live their lives too intensely.” He explained, “To succeed, you have to put in much more effort than others, and you can experience a lot of stress in that process. Even after achieving success, you can easily crumble over small things.”
He added, “I hope they become people who can love themselves even if others don’t,” and expressed his wish to be “a father like a big tree that the children can lean on at any time.”
