Former baseball player Yoo Hee-kwan was left disappointed by Kim Jong-kook’s kickball defense skills.
In the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ aired on the afternoon of the 10th, a special episode titled ‘Gold Stealer: Find the Safe’ took place, featuring guests Yoo Hee-kwan, Kim Min-seok, and Chae Won-bin.
For the third mission of the day, the cast had to play ‘Somehow Smelly Kickball,’ a challenge where they had to play kickball while holding smelly food in their mouths.
Jae-suk’s team (Yoo Jae-suk, Chae Won-bin, Yang Se-chan) stepped up as the first attacking team, while the other two teams played defense. Yoo Jae-suk kicked the ball quickly between first and second base, and Yoo Hee-kwan, who caught the ball, quickly passed it to Kim Jong-kook. Yoo Hee-kwan fully expected Kim Jong-kook to make the play, but Kim Jong-kook failed after dropping the ball.
At that, Yoo Hee-kwan shouted at Kim Jong-kook, “My ball is slow, why can’t you catch it?” Kim Jong-kook, looking embarrassed, replied, “It was (even) slower than I thought,” bringing laughter to the set.
