Actress Seol Yun-ji, who terrified audiences as the “Road View Ghost” in the movie ‘Salmokji’, has revealed her stunning real-life visuals.
On the 10th, a video titled “Meeting the ‘Salmokji’ Road View Ghost in person, she was a goddess… 171cm unexpected visuals” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘One Mic’.
Seol Yun-ji played the so-called “Road View Ghost” in ‘Salmokji’, leaving viewers in fear. Regarding the reactions, she laughed, saying, “People tell me I’m very scary and I get a lot of DMs. Some ask for their popcorn back, or say I’ll appear in their dreams. My close friends say I’m cute, but I don’t think I look cute.”
Seol Yun-ji also shared some eerie experiences during filming. “My back is on the main poster for ‘Salmokji’, but when we were filming at the reservoir, there was no one there. There wasn’t even a single light, but something suddenly disappeared into the water, just like a scene from a movie,” she revealed. “After it vanished, I felt a presence coming toward me. A puddle-like shape formed as it disappeared.”

Seol Yun-ji added, “I tried to cheat a bit by not putting my hand in, but the director told me to do it. I was so scared that I closed my eyes tightly.” She continued, “I think a lot of strange things happened, whether at the filming site or the hotel. Maybe that’s why the movie did well.”
She also mentioned, “Teacher Go Chun-ja (the real-life model for ‘Exhuma’) came and performed a gut (shamanic ritual). What was so fascinating was that only the actors playing ghosts were asked to pull out the flags. That still sticks with me.”
Talking about the road view scenes, Seol Yun-ji said, “I wandered around to find the right spot for the scene and stayed there alone in full makeup.” She joked, “The ghost makeup alone took over two hours, and I had to wear special lenses. They were very large and hard to put in, so it took 30 minutes just for the lenses. I also had veins and black paint on my hands and neck, which were hard to remove. Since I had to put the makeup on again anyway, I just lived with dirty fingernails for a few days.”
