SeeYa’s Lee Bo-ram and Kim Yeon-ji revealed that they were once encouraged to undergo plastic surgery.
On the May 25th episode of tvN STORY’s ‘Namgyeoseo Mwohage’, SeeYa’s Nam Gyu-ri invited Lee Bo-ram and Kim Yeon-ji as guests.
During the show, Lee Bo-ram shared her first impression of Nam Gyu-ri, saying, “Isn’t she just as pretty as a doll at first glance? I thought she would sing like a doll too, but I was surprised by her mid-to-low vocal tone.”
Lee Bo-ram explained, “Debuting as a faceless singer was almost like a tradition at the agency, so that’s how we were preparing. But when our unnie [Nam Gyu-ri] joined, they suddenly told us to debut as singers with our faces shown. The company must have felt it wasn’t enough, so they took us to a plastic surgery clinic and told us to get major work done. However, our debut was only three weeks away, and they told us that recovery would be absolutely impossible in that time.”
