Seo In-young has confessed that she sided with Seo Ji-young during the infamous incident surrounding the breakup of the group Sharp.
On May 21, a video titled “Lee Ji-hye VS Seo In-young: Why did they burst into tears while talking about a story from 20 years ago for the first time? (First reveal of new song)” was uploaded to the channel ‘Mipji Aneun Gwanjong Unnie’.
During the episode, Seo In-young shared her history with Sharp, adding some laughs as she recalled, “The first time we met was when Ji-young unnie visited our waiting room. We were close before the chaos broke out.” Lee Ji-hye clarified that the mention of “chaos” referred to the events during Sharp’s breakup.
It was revealed that Seo In-young and Lee Ji-hye were once very close friends who enjoyed going to karaoke together.
While commenting on the current close bond between Seo Ji-young and Lee Ji-hye, Seo In-young remarked, “I think those two are amazing,” but then admitted, “I was on Ji-young unnie’s side back then.”
This sparked a laugh from Seo In-young as Lee Ji-hye exclaimed, “I remember that! You and Chris were all on Ji-young’s side! Seriously, you didn’t take my side and went with Ji-young!” It seems the two were especially close at the time.
Lee Ji-hye also mentioned that Seo Ji-young watched the fake documentary she filmed with Seo In-young. “She told me she found it really funny, which is embarrassing,” Lee Ji-hye added, “but once that kind of time passes, it really becomes nothing.”
