K-pop sensation Seo In Young opened up about how her life has transformed since entering her glorious “second heyday.”
Her stunning pictorial, a collaboration with fashion and beauty magazine Allure Korea, was unveiled on the 20th.
After a period of hiatus from broadcast activities following a past controversy, Seo In Young has made a spectacular comeback! Her YouTube channel, “Gaegwacheonseon Seo In Young,” recently soared past an average of 3 million views and garnered over 700,000 subscribers, marking her incredible second heyday.
Fans are absolutely loving her candid charm and how she fearlessly addresses past controversies with genuine reflection.
This newfound success led Seo In Young to her first pictorial shoot in approximately 10 years! After crafting a powerful new image, she revealed in an interview, “Honestly, I don’t really watch YouTube, so I didn’t even realize the view counts were so high. It’s truly amazing to see how happy my parents, long-time staff, friends, and even people I haven’t been in touch with for a while are for me, reaching out to say hello.”
She added, “I constantly remind myself, ‘Don’t lose your composure.’ I’m also striving to remember the mindset I had when I started YouTube: ‘My own happiness is the most important.’ And now that I have a team working with me, I feel a strong sense of responsibility too.”
She continued, “In the beginning, I was so curious about all the comments pouring in that I’d wake up every hour, even in the early morning, just to check them! I try to stay calm about YouTube and people’s reactions, but honestly, my heart is truly touched when I read the comments. I’m so grateful and moved by them every single day. Every word is precious to me.”
Seo In Young also shared, “I’ve realized there are so many people working hard and struggling, and I truly want to comfort them.” She added, “I want to listen to their worries and offer solace, but I’m still figuring out the best way to do that. That’s a big thought on my mind these days.”
And yes, she even touched upon a potential comeback as a “singer”! She revealed, “I’ve got some things stored up, and I’m still diligently recording. I really want to create music that connects with people, but I haven’t quite found the perfect form for it yet. I’ve participated in so many songs throughout my career, so I can’t help but think, ‘Could I get another chance to sing?’ I’d also love to create opportunities with my fellow Jewelry members!” This certainly raises expectations!
