Lee Ji-hyun, a former member of Jewelry, opened up about Seo In-young’s extraordinary passion for shopping during their time in the group.
On May 6, a video titled “Jewelry’s scary unnies appear, and even the great Seo In-young can’t do anything (+Park Jung-ah, Lee Ji-hyun)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Gaegwacheonseon Seo In-young’. In the video, Seo In-young invited Park Jung-ah and Lee Ji-hyun to her home for a chat.
Lee Ji-hyun shared a memorable episode from their Jewelry days. She recalled, “Back then, the CEO would give us our event fees in cash inside the plane or car.” She then revealed, “As soon as she got the money, In-young would call a friend and say, ‘Hey, let’s go buy clothes at Dongdaemun!'” which sparked laughter.
Lee Ji-hyun added, “Since we were young, the rest of us gave the money to our parents. But In-young was calling friends to go to Dongdaemun,” highlighting Seo In-young’s unique shopping drive. Watching from the side, Park Jung-ah agreed, saying, “She was proactive even back then.”
Seo In-young laughed along with the revelations. While saying, “I don’t remember,” she coolly admitted, “But I probably did.”
Seo In-young previously appeared on ‘You Quiz’ and spoke about her peak activity years, confessing that she spent 10 billion won of her earnings on shopping.
