Voice actress Seo Yuri, who is currently in a “war” with PD Choi Byung-gil, has shared a bright update on her life.
On the 17th, Seo Yuri was spotted filming a mukbang at a famous restaurant, looking completely happy with her mouth full of delicious food.
As previously reported, Seo Yuri and PD Choi have been engaged in a public battle of accusations following their divorce after five years of marriage. PD Choi previously revealed a “divorce agreement” document from Seo Yuri’s side, which reportedly included demands such as casting her in a lead or supporting role in a specific drama, ensuring her appearance in his next project if the first promise failed, and accompanying him to the Cannes International Series Festival. He claimed these were “unrealistic conditions” and stated that the agreement was finalized by adding an extra sum of money.
In response, Seo Yuri criticized the claim, stating, “It is hard to accept the claim that he added 60 million won when he hasn’t even properly paid back the original amount.” She further argued that those terms were not part of the final agreement and were only mentioned because of the damage she suffered in the broadcasting industry due to Choi Byung-gil.
Following this, PD Choi recently wrote on his SNS, “I want to give the settlement money, but it is difficult to pay right now as I currently have no income. I only wish to secure work as soon as possible so I can pay the settlement.”
PD Choi also appealed to Seo Yuri, noting that “image and reputation are everything in this industry” and that “negative attacks on each other do not help anyone.” He pleaded, “Could you please just leave me alone so that I can stand back up in the market and pay the settlement?”
He further emphasized that he is being harassed, claiming, “You have contacted me more persistently and aggressively than any loan shark. It was almost to the point of stalking.”
Meanwhile, Seo Yuri married PD Choi in 2019 but divorced in March 2024. Last June, she announced that she is dating someone in the legal profession whom she met through a marriage agency.
