Comedian Shim Jin-hwa brought a touching moment to fans by visiting the father of her late best friend, Kim Hyung-eun.
On the 13th, Shim Jin-hwa posted several photos on her SNS with the caption, “Father, please stay healthy. Thanks to Taek-i oppa for setting up a video call right away when I said I missed Father.”
In the revealed photos, Kim Won-hyo and Shim Jin-hwa caught attention by meeting Kim Hyung-eun’s father to celebrate Parents’ Day. They spent a friendly time together over a meal, and a carnation pinned to the father’s chest added a warm touch to the scene.
In place of her late friend Kim Hyung-eun, Shim Jin-hwa has consistently visited the father who was left alone. She has looked after him every Parents’ Day and even celebrated his 90th birthday party.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyung-eun tragically passed away in January 2007 at the age of 25, following a car accident on December 16, 2006, while traveling for a performance. Shim Jin-hwa, who was very close to her, was devastated by the loss at the time.
