Actress Shin Se-kyung took home the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category for her role in ‘Humint’!
The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards were held on the afternoon of the 8th at COEX Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This year, the ceremony was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum.
Among the nominees for Best Supporting Actress in the film category, including Shin Se-kyung for ‘Humint’, Shin Hyun-bin for ‘Face’, Yeom Hye-ran for ‘I Can’t Help It’, Jang Hye-jin for ‘Master of the World’, and Jeon Mi-do for ‘The Man Living with the King’, the honor went to Shin Se-kyung.
As soon as Shin Se-kyung’s name was called, actor Park Jung-min from ‘Humint’ (directed by Ryoo Seung-wan) couldn’t hide his excitement, letting out a loud “Wow!”
While Park Hae-joon and Park Jung-min cheered with joy on either side, Shin Se-kyung walked up to the stage with a smile. Park Jung-min showed his happiness while trying to hold back his laughter in the audience, and Park Hae-joon caught everyone’s attention with a proud smile throughout.
Expressing her gratitude to the ‘Humint’ team, Shin Se-kyung shared her heartfelt feelings, saying, “During my time in this industry, there are people around me, family, friends, and colleagues at my agency who helped me grow into a healthy person. I also ran into many people from my previous agencies. I am grateful even to those from my past agencies.”
She also thanked her fans, saying, “I may be an actress with a slow pace, but thank you for waiting for me and supporting me silently.” She added, “Thanks to the people I mentioned, I have grown well and am living a good life. Please continue to support me. I will continue to work hard and diligently.”
