Shocking! Wife Took Out Millions in Loans for Gambling-Addicted Husband on 'Divorce Meditation Camp'

A heartbreaking story has been revealed about a wife who took out a loan of 100 million won for her husband struggling with gambling addiction.

In the 86th episode of JTBC’s ‘Divorce Meditation Camp’ aired on the 14th, a domestic investigation video of an “addicted couple” was shown.

During the episode, the wife opened up about how her husband first fell into gambling.

She shared, “One day, a young delivery driver who gambled came to my husband’s business office. That’s when my husband started gambling,” adding that he reportedly earned about 100 million won from it at first.

However, the real trouble started after that.

The husband began losing money and gradually lost his grip on reality.

Eventually, the wife took out a 100 million won loan in her own name to give to her husband.

She explained, “At first, I didn’t realize it was gambling. I simply thought he had earned the money because he kept bringing it home. Once I found out it was gambling, I tried to stop him.”

But the damage only grew worse.

The wife revealed that she took out loans totaling about 180 million won in her and her husband’s names and even borrowed 50 million won from her parents.

Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon asked, “You probably thought he could win it back through gambling, right?” to which the wife admitted, “I did have that thought a bit. I was aware it was gambling.”

Due to his addiction, the husband neglected his main job at the delivery office, which eventually passed into someone else’s hands.

Despite everything, the husband’s gambling didn’t stop.

The wife exposed, “I canceled the divorce filing twice because he begged me to forgive him. But he still says he wants to make money through gambling. He’s still doing it now. He even came to me yesterday asking for money.”

In fact, the husband was caught asking his wife for gambling money even during the filming of the domestic investigation.

When Seo Jang-hoon confronted him after seeing the evidence video, saying, “You’re still gambling,” the husband finally admitted, “Yes, just this once.”

Seo Jang-hoon pointed out, “You keep making excuses. At first, you claimed you didn’t do it, but the truth comes out once I ask in detail.”

The husband continued to lie and only confessed when pressed, further fueling suspicions.
