Space Idols Land! Virtual Unit Space Horror Drops Debut Single 'Space Horror' Today

The “Space Idols” are finally unveiling themselves!

Project unit Space Horror, from the subculture virtual label GRIM Production, has officially made their debut. Their first digital single, “Space Horror (SPACE HORROR),” was released today (26th) at 12 PM across various online music platforms.

Space Horror is a project unit born from “Virtual ON-LIVE! 2,” a virtual streamer singing competition held on Naver Chzzk back in March that garnered huge attention.

After fierce competition, four virtual artists with distinct personalities and worldviews were selected: RIMO, MOI, Moko Parfait, and Yeon Haneul.

The team name “Space Horror” carries an intriguing meaning, suggesting that the miraculous process of four completely different people connecting through a single audition is like a “ghost story” itself. Through this project, they have evolved beyond their individual streamer personas to be reborn as a mysterious and powerful “Space Idol” visual unit.

The title track “Space Horror (SPACE HORROR),” which shares the unit’s name, is an electronic dance track featuring an ear-catching, powerful lead synth and heart-pounding, energetic sound. Hit producer and composer IGLoo, a representative of the subculture scene, took the lead to ensure the song’s high quality. The addictive chorus and easy-listening lyrics blend with a rhythmical melody to deliver an intense musical thrill.

The music video kicks off with a shocking breaking news headline, “Scoop: Mysterious beautiful girl discovered in space,” immediately sparking curiosity. It aims to provide an immersive experience, similar to a circulating ghost story, through original illustrations that maximize the new charms of the four members, sensory animation, and various design techniques.

“Virtual ON-LIVE!,” which gave birth to Space Horror, has quickly established itself as a dominant force in virtual music competitions since its first event in 2025.
