SHINee member Minho has caught everyone’s attention by revealing his unexpected physical condition during a health checkup.

On May 13, a video titled “The Shocking Body Condition of Someone Who Doesn’t Diet: Minho’s Physical Exam Results Revealed” was uploaded to Minho’s own channel, ‘Choi Minho.’ In the video, Minho visited a checkup center to assess his current health. He explained, “I’m not here to test my athletic ability, but to see exactly what my body is like right now.”

When asked about his recent condition, Minho honestly shared, “I haven’t been able to do high-intensity workouts for about a month,” adding, “My motivation for exercising has dropped a bit compared to before.” He also mentioned his hectic schedule, saying, “Between preparing for the SHINee concert, appearing on regular variety shows, and running my own channel, it hasn’t been easy to maintain consistent body management.”

Minho underwent various tests, including InBody measurements, a 3D body scan, grip strength tests, and a DEXA scan. The specialist in charge was amazed by Minho’s physical balance. He explained, “Even though his abdominal line is very slim, there is almost no difference in thickness between his left and right legs. Usually, a difference of less than 1cm is considered good balance, but Minho’s is only 0.2cm. His exercise balance is exceptionally well-maintained.”

Minho smiled and replied, “Since I naturally have a slim leg build, I’ve always wanted them to be thicker. Still, they’ve gotten much thicker than before, so I’m satisfied.”

The results showed Minho weighs 70.4kg with a body fat percentage of 10.4%. Specialist Woo Chang-yoon noted that 10% is a very good state, but he expressed surprise at the DEXA scan results, which showed almost no detectable visceral fat. He added, “I’ve never seen a case like this among male patients. It’s at a level where only the minimum amount of fat required to protect the organs remains.” However, he explained that his overall metabolic health is very good.

Minho shared his concern that “it feels like my body doesn’t build muscle easily compared to the amount I exercise.” In response, Woo Chang-yoon advised, “Increasing your protein intake slightly would help in increasing muscle mass.”

Meanwhile, SHINee is preparing to release their sixth mini album, ‘Atmos,’ this June.
