Taeyang Recalls BIGBANG’s Debut While Working with All Day Project for His Comeback!

All Day Project members Tarzan and Woochan participated as featured artists on the track “WOULD YOU” from the album “Quintessence”. Both Taeyang and All Day Project are under THEBLACKLABEL, led by producer Teddy.

Taeyang shared that watching All Day Project’s debut process last year reminded him of BIGBANG’s own debut. He explained the reason for the collaboration, saying, “Seeing the All Day Project members debut and promote really brought back the feeling of our debut. I suggested the collab because I felt that their unique freshness and texture would be added to the song.”

Showing his affection for the younger artists, he added, “Tarzan and Woochan worked so hard that listeners will be surprised. They really helped elevate the quality of the song.”

“Quintessence” is Taeyang’s first full-length solo album in nine years since “White Night” and celebrates his 20th anniversary since debut. The album features 10 tracks, including the title song “LIVE FAST DIE SLOW”.

Meaning “essence” or “quintessence,” the album “Quintessence” is highly anticipated to showcase Taeyang’s deeper and more defined musical identity.
