Tak Jae-hoon expressed some hilarious suspicion over the reunion of I.O.I.
On the May 4 broadcast of SBS’s “Ani Geunde Jinjja,” the girl group I.O.I made a full-group appearance for the first time in 10 years.
Tak Jae-hoon sparked laughter by questioning the sudden reunion, asking, “Why did you suddenly get together? This isn’t easy to do. Did you run out of money?” He continued with quirky questions, asking, “Since you’ve reunited after 10 years, there must be many stories. Is anyone married?” The I.O.I members replied that no one is married yet, to which Tak Jae-hoon praised them, saying, “Good job, good job,” adding to the humor.
Lee Su-ji remarked, “To me, they all look like fresh babies,” while I.O.I recalled their debut, noting they filmed in late 2015 and debuted in 2016 after receiving votes. Lee Sang-min then asked the youngest member, Jeon Somi, “Weren’t there times you got upset as the youngest while living in the dorms?”
Jeon Somi shared a moment she felt hurt by Kim Se-jeong, saying, “There are a few things. We had monthly meetings for two months. I had an early schedule the next day and had to go to school, so I was already lying down in my room. (Kim Se-jeong) told me, ‘Somi, the other unnies are sitting and we’re having a group meeting, so I don’t think lying down is polite.'”
Chungha reacted, “I remember her telling me because she was so upset,” but Tak Jae-hoon took Kim Se-jeong’s side, asking, “How could you be lying down?” Kim Se-jeong added to the laughter by saying, “I don’t remember, but even hearing it now, I think she should have stood up.”
