On the 19th, an unreleased clip from SBS Plus and ENA’s ‘I Am Solo’ titled “The answer is only YES OR NO: Young-ho’s counseling king moment for the complicated Young-sook” was uploaded to the ‘Village Chief Entertainment TV’ channel. In the video, Young-sook opens up to Young-ho about her struggles regarding her relationship with Kyung-soo.

During the conversation, Young-sook mentioned that Sun-ja and Kyung-soo had grown closer through a one-to-many date, questioning if her efforts would even change Kyung-soo’s heart. She expressed her wish for him to be honest if things weren’t going to change. Young-ho advised her to focus on her own choices rather than trying to change someone else’s heart. However, what caught more attention than the content itself was the closed comment section. As of 11 AM on the 20th, the comment function for the video was confirmed to be disabled.

Recently, the 31st batch of ‘I Am Solo’ landed in the center of a controversy after a scene aired where Ok-soon, Young-sook, and Jung-hee were talking about Sun-ja. The broadcast showed Sun-ja overhearing their conversation from outside the door, bursting into tears, and eventually being taken to the hospital due to stomach cramps. Even MC Defconn reacted with discomfort, mentioning that it was “too scary.” Since then, viewers have pointed out the editing style that excessively highlights certain cast members and raised concerns over the protection of the participants.

As the controversy grew, the production team re-uploaded a revised version with some scenes deleted and set some of the existing unreleased footage to private. In recent episodes, Ok-soon’s screen time has also noticeably decreased. However, the tension remains as scenes of Young-sook talking behind Sun-ja’s back were highlighted again. The production team has responded by adding a caption at the end of the broadcast asking viewers to “refrain from excessive criticism toward the cast” and by restricting the comment sections of unreleased clips. SBS Plus and ENA’s ‘I Am Solo’ airs every Wednesday at 10:30 PM.
