In KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman,” the Kang-Dan siblings of couple Son Min-su and Im La-ra will have a special first meeting with their 96-year-old great-grandmother.
In episode 621, “Going to Meet Now,” airing on the 13th, the Kang-Dan siblings’ first encounter with their great-grandmother will be revealed, with MCs Kim Jong-min and Ralral joining in.
Kang and Dan will steal the spotlight with their “Strawberry Siblings” look, wearing strawberry hats and green collars. With Dan’s chubby cheeks and Kang’s lovely eye-smile, they’ll be exploding with cuteness from the moment they appear, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
Meeting Im La-ra for the first time in three years, the great-grandmother bursts into a bright smile upon seeing her great-grandchildren, exclaiming, “Oh, how pretty!” Known as the one who passed down the entertainment genes to Im La-ra, the 96-year-old still boasts cheerful energy. After gazing at the “strawberry fairies” Kang and Dan, she brings a smile to everyone’s faces by clapping and congratulating her granddaughter, saying, “It’s hard enough to have one, but you had two? You’re quite talented!”
Attention is also drawn to the four generations gathered in one place: the great-grandmother, grandmother, mother Im La-ra, and Dan, all boasting strikingly similar visuals. Seeming to know she resembles her great-grandmother, Dan shows off extreme friendliness with bright smiles.
When Dan babbles and laughs every time the great-grandmother speaks, Im La-ra is reportedly amazed by the siblings’ lack of shyness, noting, “I think Kang and Dan recognize people who look like them.”
