Actor Seo Jun-young has taken a big step forward with his romantic interest, Jung Jae-kyung, who is seven years his junior, during a sweet camping date.
In the May 14 episode of Channel A’s ‘Groom Class 2’, Seo Jun-young’s home and his camping trip to Daebudo with Jung Jae-kyung were revealed.
Seo Jun-young first opened up his home, which was filled with scripts. His parents visited for his upcoming birthday, and his mother brought homemade side dishes. Seo Jun-young packed them, saying, “I should take these with me on the camping trip with Jae-kyung.”
His parents were supportive. His father cheered on his son’s love life, asking, “Are they getting closer since they’re going camping?” He added, “I’m more excited for ‘Groom Class’ than for dramas. His step seems lighter than before. I’m so happy my blood vessels feel like they’re dancing,” bringing laughter to the set.
Afterward, Seo Jun-young headed to a campsite in Daebudo with weather caster Jung Jae-kyung. Jung Jae-kyung, for whom camping had always been on her bucket list, couldn’t hide her excitement, though the two were momentarily flustered by sudden bad weather, wondering, “Did we come at the right time?”
Making his first attempt at camping, Seo Jun-young managed to set up the tarp and car camping gear after some trial and error. The two then went for a beach stroll, and in the romantic atmosphere, Seo Jun-young carefully took Jung Jae-kyung’s hand.
Showing his bold side, Seo Jun-young exclaimed, “Today’s bucket list was ‘holding hands’. Hooray!”
For dinner, Seo Jun-young prepared a feast using his mother’s side dishes. Jung Jae-kyung thoroughly enjoyed galbi-jjim, Seo Jun-young’s favorite food. He confessed, “Galbi-jjim made by my mother is my absolute favorite, so seeing her enjoy it made my heart flutter.”
As night fell, the two turned off all the lights to stargaze. While looking at the stars, Seo Jun-young gathered his courage once more to hold Jung Jae-kyung’s hand, even interlocking their fingers to create a sweet, romantic mood.
