Truedy showed her full support for ‘Goal Hitters’ alongside her son, Geum-ttong-i, and that positive energy reached the Wonder Woman team!
In the May 20th episode of SBS’s ‘Goal Hitters Reboot,’ original Wonder Woman member Truedy made a special visit to the team.
Truedy had previously left the program to give birth. During her time with Wonder Woman, she was a powerhouse on the field, known for her incredible energy and sharp scoring ability.
Still full of energy as a mom, she visited the waiting room and shared the joy of her baby with both original and new members. One of the original teammates reminisced, “Do you remember? Truedy scored a great goal from a pass by Mashima while this little one was still in the womb!”
The “aunts” showered the baby with love, and the coaches also took turns holding him. Coach Choi Jin-cheol adored the baby like his own grandson, laughing as he recalled, “Last time another baby visited, they felt so comfortable in the waiting room that they actually pooped!”
As if the baby’s luck was working, the Wonder Woman 2026 team displayed endless stamina against the strong model-led team, Gu-cheok-jang-sin. Although Gu-cheok-jang-sin scored first in the first half, Wonder Woman’s energy burned bright like an inexhaustible fuel, even in this battle to avoid last place.
Mashima, acting as the ace, drove the ball toward a certain goal. The shot was powerful, but unfortunately, it was stopped by the formidable goalkeeper, Heo Kyung-hee.
Watching from the stands, an excited Truedy stood up and lamented, “That ball should have definitely gone in!” Other team members agreed, saying, “It really should have, but Kyung-hee unnie stopped it.”
Despite this, Mashima’s precision remained sharp. Wonder Woman earned a free kick, and Mashima took the shot. However, it narrowly missed the goal, and Mashima immediately sprinted back to the defense without tiring.
The heart-pounding battle for the bottom spot was desperate and gripping, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The power of women’s sports variety shows continues to reach new heights, proving to be more dramatic than a K-drama.
Meanwhile, Truedy married former baseball player Lee Dae-eun in 2021 and gave birth to their first son in 2025. She currently shares updates on parenting and her baby’s growth through her YouTube channel.
Truedy first rose to fame as a rookie female hip-hop artist through Mnet’s audition program ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2.’ Lee Dae-eun joined the Chicago Cubs in 2007 and played for KT wiz from 2018 until his retirement in January 2022.
