TWS is back, trading their fresh boyish charms for a more mature and polished vibe! With their 5th mini album ‘NO TRAGEDY’, the group explores the deeper realms of love, successfully opening a brand new chapter of their signature ‘Boyhood Pop’ genre.
The most striking change in this album is TWS’s strengthened musical skill. Known for their clear and refreshing vocals, they now showcase a deep understanding of various genres and precise vocal expression. The house-based title track ‘You, You’ highlights their trendy tones and smooth falsetto, while the B-side ‘Get It Now’ delivers a surprising twist with a gritty boom-bap hip hop style. Additionally, ‘Back To Strangers’ captures a calm, delicate emotion, proving that TWS is an evolving artist that doesn’t just settle for ‘easy listening’.

Their performances, which earned them the title of ‘5th Generation Performance Powerhouses,’ have also evolved. Moving beyond explosive energy, ‘You, You’ leaves a mature impression with smooth movements, relaxed grooves, and sophisticated control. The visual transformation adds to the narrative; members, including Shinyu who went viral for his platinum blonde hair, swapped their casual looks for a ‘noble look’ featuring luxurious lace shirts and denim. Their sophisticated aura, reminiscent of ‘modern-day Romeos,’ proves their expanded ability to pull off diverse concepts.
This flexible growth immediately paid off with an explosive response from fans. ‘NO TRAGEDY’ surpassed 1 million copies sold within just four days of release, granting TWS the honor of becoming ‘first-time million sellers.’ Their chart performance is equally dominant, taking the top spot on the Hanteo Weekly Album Chart (April 27 to May 3) and hitting #1 on Japan’s Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ on both May 4 and 6. The title track is also dominating major global music charts.
TWS’s momentum is extending to the offline stage. They’ve already been invited to perform at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘SUMMER SONIC 2026,’ this August. Even more excitingly, through their new tour ‘2026 TWS TOUR ‘24/7:FOR:YOU’’ starting in June, they’ve successfully entered the KSPO DOME (formerly Gymnastics Arena) at Olympic Park, the ‘holy land of K-pop,’ just two and a half years after their debut. Starting with this, TWS will embark on a massive global tour with a total of 15 performances across 8 cities worldwide. Fans are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of ‘Boyhood Pop’ as they continue to grow and expand their influence globally.
