Creator Tzuyang is once again sharing her positive influence with the world!
On the 15th, the international relief and development NGO World Vision announced that Mukbang creator Tzuyang has joined the effort to restore mangroves and support local communities in Indonesia.
During her visit to Indonesia on April 11, Tzuyang gave back to her Indonesian subscribers by donating approximately 52 million KRW (about 600 million Rupiah) in the form of funds and clothing.
The donation will be used for World Vision’s “Mangrove Restoration and Forest Fishery Capacity Building Project” in Indonesia. This initiative aims to combat coastal erosion and climate change by restoring mangrove forests, while helping local residents recover their livelihoods and become self-sufficient.
Tzuyang also provided clothing from her own brand, ‘Gardens’, to World Vision Indonesia, which were gifted to children and residents at the Jakarta project site. She personally visited the site in Jakarta to observe the restoration activities and spend quality time with the local community and children.
“I wanted to give back to my Indonesian subscribers, who show me so much love, second only to those in Korea,” Tzuyang shared. “Visiting the mangrove project site made me realize that these forests are more than just trees; they play a vital role in protecting the climate and the lives of local residents.” She added, “I hope this support provides practical help to the residents as well as contributing to environmental protection.”
This isn’t her first big gesture! Back in 2024, Tzuyang donated 100 million KRW to World Vision to celebrate reaching 10 million subscribers on YouTube.
