
Han Sang-hyuk, known as Hyuk of the idol group VIXX, is set to appear as reporter Seong-gyu in the movie ‘Pink Box’. Making his return to the big screen after completing his military service, fans are excited to see the representative all-rounder showcase an even deeper acting transformation.
Han Sang-hyuk is officially stepping back into the cinematic spotlight by taking on the role of Seong-gyu in ‘Pink Box’, produced by the comprehensive content production company UP Works.
‘Pink Box’ is a horror film told in an omnibus format. It follows the story of five famous influencers, each with a million followers, who become entangled in a mysterious series of disappearances following a celebratory party.
Since debuting as a member of VIXX in 2012, Han Sang-hyuk has received immense love from global fans for his unique concepts and performances. He has also been active as an actor across various fields, including dramas, plays, musicals, and movies, starting with the 2016 film ‘Catch It to Live’.
This marks Han Sang-hyuk’s first screen return since his discharge on February 17 and the successful completion of the VIXX fan concert ‘Case No. VIXX’, making this a significant move that signals the start of his full-scale activities.
In ‘Pink Box’, Han Sang-hyuk will lead the story as reporter Seong-gyu, who chases the truth behind the serial disappearances of the influencers. Having already proven his potential with an impressive performance in the horror movie ‘Body Collection.zip’, there is high anticipation for his evolved acting in this new project.
Han Sang-hyuk continues to build his filmography through various works, including the dramas ‘Romance Special Law’, ‘The Great Show’, and ‘Gaduri Sashimi Shop’, the movies ‘Body Collection.zip’ and ‘Catch It to Live’, and the musicals ‘Again, Zoo’ and ‘Eyes of Dawn’.
