
Exciting news has arrived regarding the additional casting for ‘The Batman: Part 2’, the highly anticipated sequel to ‘The Batman’!
On the 14th (local time), US entertainment outlet Variety reported that director Matt Reeves recently used his social media (X) to reveal a series of new cast members who will be joining Robert Pattinson.
Director Reeves announced the addition of Scarlett Johansson with the caption, “The next exit to Gotham… welcome.” Sebastian Stan, widely known as the Winter Soldier from Marvel, has also confirmed his role. He is reportedly set to play Gotham City prosecutor Harvey Dent.
Additionally, Charles Dance from ‘Game of Thrones’ will take on the role of Charles Dent, the father of Harvey Dent. Brian Tyree Henry, who previously appeared in ‘Joker’ and ‘Eternals’, and German actor Sebastian Koch have also been named as new faces joining the world of Gotham.
Led by Robert Pattinson (as Bruce Wayne), returning cast members including Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, and Andy Serkis have confirmed their return and are reportedly currently filming in the UK.
Regarding the direction of this sequel, Director Reeves stated, “I will focus more on the character of Bruce Wayne,” adding, “I want to show the human side of Bruce Wayne hidden behind the mask in a new way.”
‘The Batman: Part 2’ is scheduled to be released on October 1, 2027.
