Kim Hwan-hee previously made headlines in 2021 when she was accepted into the Department of Theater and Film at Hanyang University through the early admission process. She even revealed in a past interview that she was once the top student in her department and received a full scholarship, showing her dedication to balancing both academics and acting.

Beyond acting, she has also shown a keen interest in performance sound design. She shared her new dream, stating, “After participating as a staff member rather than an actor, I realized that the process of creating something is joyful in itself. I hope to participate in a project as a sound director someday.”

Born in 2002, Kim Hwan-hee debuted in the 2008 SBS drama ‘Bulhandang’. She left a powerful impression on the public as Hyo-jin in the movie ‘The Wailing’ with her iconic line, “What’s important” (뭣이 중헌디), and proved her talent by winning the Best New Actress award at the 53rd Grand Bell Awards.
