Actress Lee Se-hee is grabbing attention after revealing a side of her private life that is a complete 180 from her usual smart and pure image. Appearing on the SBS variety show “My Little Old Boy,” Lee Se-hee introduced her unique habit of sticking motivational quotes all over her home, showing her deep love for them. She explained that she uses these quotes for practical help in life, comparing it to an “advertising effect.” Her idea is that even if she isn’t consciously thinking about them, the quotes seep into her mind while she eats or looks around, creating a foundation that positively influences her future choices.

However, the heartwarming conversation took a turn when the reality of her housekeeping was exposed. It was revealed that she once delayed doing the dishes for a whopping three days! When the cast jokingly questioned, “Why on earth do you write quotes if you delay the dishes for three days?” Lee Se-hee confidently shouted, “I wrote them because the action doesn’t come easily,” leaving the studio in bursts of laughter.

Lee Se-hee shared that she wisely overcame the long-time struggle of “delaying the dishes” through the help of quotes and a timer. She confessed that until five years ago, household chores that seemed easy to others were a huge source of stress for her. One day, she actually set a timer to see how long it took and was shocked to find that finishing a mountain of dishes took only 30 minutes.
Recalling that moment, she said, “I felt foolish that I had been stressing and delaying something that only takes 30 minutes.” She revealed that after activating her “metacognition” to objectively understand her situation, she began doing the dishes immediately with the mindset that “it only takes 30 minutes.”
