xikers are building up huge anticipation with their high-quality teasing content!
Their agency, KQ Entertainment, released a series of production videos for xikers’ seventh mini album, ‘ROUTE ZERO : The ORA’, from May 11 to 13.
The seventh mini album features five tracks that capture xikers’ distinct color with raw and untamed energy. The title track, ‘OKay’, showcases a bold energy that daringly tosses aside the rules set by the world.
Once again, Minjae, Sumin, and Yechan participated in writing the lyrics for every single song, weaving xikers’ unique sensibility and message throughout the album.
The released videos consist of three episodes: ‘Beat Cooking’, which covers the beat-making process; ‘Spirit Mic’, depicting the recording process; and ‘Ghost Moves’, showing the creation of the choreography. The videos capture the members as they record their new songs and develop the dance moves.
Each episode is designed so that the content mentioned in the interviews is immediately visualized, adding to the immersion. In particular, the use of stop-motion techniques creates a consistent “crafty” mood across the content, making it even more fun to watch.
Meanwhile, xikers’ seventh mini album ‘ROUTE ZERO : The ORA’ will be released on May 19 at 6 PM via various music sites. A comeback showcase will also be held at 8 PM that same day at the NOL Theater Hapjeong Tongyang Life Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Before that, xikers will appear at the ‘ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS’ held on May 17 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
