Comedian Yang Sang-guk recently opened up about the popularity he has been feeling lately.
On May 2, a video titled “Promotion Ambassador is Pinggyego” was uploaded to the online channel ‘DdeunDdeun’. The episode featured Yang Sang-guk, Han Sang-jin, and Nam Chang-hee as guests chatting with Yoo Jae-suk.
Talking about the currently trending Yang Sang-guk, Yoo Jae-suk noted, “Sang-guk actually had a mindset for a long time of ‘doing everything that comes my way,’ no matter where it was. Because of that, he has a huge amount of work under his belt. Now that he’s receiving a lot of attention, his older content is resurfacing.”
To this, Yang Sang-guk played up his charms, saying, “There’s like a ‘Yang Sang-guk tour’ happening. For example, some people might be seeing me for the first time through this, and then they fall for my charms and go on a full tour of my content.”
Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, “He told me his life changed in just two months. It’s truly amazing.” Yang Sang-guk then joked, “I can’t really walk the streets anymore,” which led to an explosion of laughter. When the topic shifted to dating, Yang Sang-guk revealed, “With the girlfriend I’m meeting now, I don’t have the concept of dropping her off at home. She just needs to stay at my house. I dream of marriage. I’m not at an age to dream of the kind of dating youth do.” Yoo Jae-suk explained, “What Sang-guk is saying is that he has no time for ‘push-and-pull’ games,” to which Yang Sang-guk added, “I’m not at an age to play around. I’m really serious,” showing his sincere desire for marriage.
