Yoo Jae Suk from ‘How Do You Play?’ has once again made a run for it to avoid paying the bill!
The May 16 episode of MBC’s ‘How Do You Play?’ featured the ‘War of Money in Changwon’ special.
The members visited Changwon, the hometown of Joo Woo Jae. Joo Woo Jae bragged about his deep roots in the city, sharing that he attended kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school there, as well as a cram school. He also mentioned his father’s long career in the city, working from Daewoo Motors to Chevrolet.
The crew traveled around Changwon in a car borrowed from Yang Sang Guk’s friend, Yeop-yi, with Joo Woo Jae leading the way. Joo Woo Jae confidently promised to show them his favorite memory spots and local delicacies, specifically mentioning a famous old Milmyeon (wheat noodle) restaurant in Gaeum-jeong.
However, Joo Woo Jae instead took them to his old elementary school. Haha complained that this didn’t fit the purpose of the trip, and Yoo Jae Suk expressed his frustration, asking why he was being dragged along on Joo Woo Jae’s personal nostalgia trip. Yoo Jae Suk teased, “Changwon is great, but being here with you is the worst. Aren’t there other cool places in Changwon?”
During the tour, an elementary student recognized them and brought up the ‘War of Money’ Tongyeong episode, teasing Yoo Jae Suk for not wanting to pay. Despite being a building owner with property worth 20 billion won, Yoo Jae Suk had famously tried everything to avoid the bill in that episode. Yoo Jae Suk broke into a sweat, trying to explain, “It’s not that we don’t want to pay! Don’t misunderstand!” which left everyone in stitches.

For their final stop, the members visited a grilled pork restaurant. As expected, a tense psychological battle ensued to see who would pay. Haha suggested a game where the person who took the most selfies while blindfolded would win. While Haha was showing a reference video, Yoo Jae Suk seized the moment and bolted.
Yoo Jae Suk quickly jumped into the driver’s seat, and Joo Woo Jae soon joined the escape. Haha shook his head in disbelief, shouting, “Catch them! This isn’t right! It’s void! Why does this happen every time?” Lee Sun Min, who was sent to catch Yoo Jae Suk, didn’t hesitate to hop into the passenger seat when Yoo Jae Suk yelled, “Sun Min, get in quickly!” Joo Woo Jae asked to go to Changwon Station, and Yoo Jae Suk drove away, disappearing peacefully.
Heo Kyung Hwan, Yang Sang Guk, and Haha were left bewildered. Yang Sang Guk seemed to give up, suggesting the three of them split the bill, but Heo Kyung Hwan was furious, calling it “dining and dashing” and saying they should report them. Meanwhile, Haha pretended to go back into the restaurant but actually hid, planning to wait until the others paid.
Heo Kyung Hwan wondered where Haha had gone and asked, “Isn’t that your friend’s car?” Yang Sang Guk was shocked, asking, “Wait, did they steal my friend’s car too?”
Heo Kyung Hwan told him to report it, and Yang Sang Guk expressed his absurdity, saying, “I can overlook them not paying the bill, but stealing a friend’s car is going too far!”
Yang Sang Guk then called Joo Woo Jae to protest the “car theft,” but Joo Woo Jae shifted the blame to Yoo Jae Suk, claiming there was a separate driver, and told them to look for the car in the Changwon Station parking lot.
Soon after, Haha and Yang Sang Guk also made their escape. Yang Sang Guk apologized to Heo Kyung Hwan, saying, “Sorry, Kyung Hwan hyung. You must have been counting on me.” In the end, Heo Kyung Hwan was left alone to pay 204,000 won out of his own pocket. Despairing, he left the scene saying, “The ‘War of Money’ doesn’t end here,” adding more laughter to the situation.
