Appearing on MBN’s ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day & Night’ on the 2nd, Yoon Bok-hee opened up about the journey of her life.

During the episode, she recalled a frightening accident she experienced while performing in the musical ‘Peter Pan’.

She explained, “A nail holding the boat-shaped set in place came loose, causing me to lose my balance. I instinctively grabbed the hand of the actor playing Captain Hook, but the force caused me to fall.”

“I initially thought it was a torn ligament, but it turned out my spine had collapsed. I was told I could have ended up paralyzed,” she shared.

Despite the intense pain, she revealed that she refused to take medication.

Yoon Bok-hee confessed, “Isn’t morphine essentially opium? I remember my father being hospitalized for opium addiction, so I chose not to use it.”

She then shared more emotional details about her early years.

“My father was hospitalized due to addiction, and my mother passed away from a heart attack while performing to pay for his hospital bills. I was only 7 years old at the time, and my mother was just 30,” she revealed.
