
Actress Yoon Jin-yi recently shared the reason why she sticks to pesticide-free food.
On the 12th, a video titled “Actress Yoon Jin-yi’s Self-Care! Trying everything that’s good for the body! (Baeksuk, healthy snacks, supplements, etc.)” was uploaded to her YouTube channel.
After a workout and a trip to the grocery store, Yoon Jin-yi introduced her haul, saying, “I bought items that are always staples in our home, and I’m going to cook today. This is truly a ‘my money, my purchase’ haul.”
Buying organic formula, antibiotic-free eggs, and pesticide-free fruits, she explained, “Whenever possible, I choose pesticide-free options. It’s better for the babies, and while it’s a bit more expensive, it’s for their health. Medical bills would cost more in the end.”

While prepping the fruit, she was caught eating the bruised pieces. She joked, “You know that ‘mom trait,’ right? Just eating the bruised parts. That’s why I gain weight. Princesses, don’t do that!”
She admitted, “I cut off the bruised part and it goes straight into my mouth. I know I shouldn’t,” but added, “But I still do it. Fruit is bound to get soft. Actually, some people only look for the freshest-looking produce, but that often means more pesticides were used. Being ‘super fresh’ isn’t always the best thing.”
After prepping the fruit, she made some tomato juice. Blending tomatoes with olive oil, she shared, “I’ve been drinking this for a long time and I love the taste, but first-timers might wonder, ‘Why is it so warm? What is this taste?’ Since it’s so good for your health, please bear with it and try it!”
