Actress Yoon Seung-ah has shared her complex emotions as her beloved dog’s health declines.
On the 24th, a new vlog was uploaded to Yoon Seung-ah’s YouTube channel, ‘Seung-a-roun’.
While the video shows her visiting trendy spots in Hannam-dong, Yoon Seung-ah also opened up about her heavy heart. She confessed, “It might seem like I’m going about my usual routine, but Boo (her dog) is very sick. Since May, it feels like there has been almost no recovery, so I’ve been visiting the hospital once or twice a day.”
She continued, “Isn’t it always like that with dogs? When they’re very sick, it’s hard to find the exact cause, and because of their age, they can’t even undergo certain tests. I’ve had so much on my mind. While waiting for Boo at the hospital, my scalp felt so tight and painful that I just decided to cut my hair.”
Yoon Seung-ah is currently torn between bringing her dog home or continuing treatment at the clinic. “If Boo stays at the hospital, they can provide IV fluids, nutrients, and antibiotics, but my heart breaks every time I leave. I’m wondering what the right thing to do is, and if keeping Boo in the hospital is truly the best choice,” she shared.
She added, “I’m trying my best to provide care, but it’s just so heartbreaking. I plan to make a final decision after speaking with the vet. The feeling I got during my visits yesterday and today was very different. You know how a mother’s intuition works, right? I feel like Boo might want to be by my side more. My husband is at the hospital right now, so I’ll discuss it with him once he’s back.”
Meanwhile, Yoon Seung-ah married actor Kim Mu-yeol in 2015, and the couple has one son.
