Singer Soyou has spoken out once again regarding plastic surgery rumors.
On the 11th, a video titled “Going to the ER while filming a MV” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Soyougi’. The clip shows Soyou getting her makeup done ahead of her new album release.
While checking her face with her hair pulled back, Soyou remarked, “Why is my forehead like this? It’s so shiny,” adding with a smile, “This is why plastic surgery rumors start. I didn’t do anything.”
Soyou further explained, “I usually leave some baby hairs in the front, but today I went for a perfect all-back look.”
Having recently succeeded in losing 20kg, Soyou has been making headlines for her transformed visuals. Her current weight is reportedly 49kg.
In the past, when plastic surgery rumors surfaced after her weight loss, she explained that it was simply due to her makeup.
The video also revealed a shocking moment where she was rushed to the emergency room during the music video shoot.
While rehearsing a scene on a subway station escalator, Soyou lost her balance and fell. She was immediately transported to the ER.
However, Soyou returned to the set about two hours later after receiving first aid. She reassured the staff, stating it was just a “simple bruise.”
