BLACKPINK to Get Their Own Commemorative Stamps for 10th Anniversary!

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of BLACKPINK’s debut, special commemorative stamps are being released!

YG Entertainment announced on the 7th, “We will be issuing the BLACKPINK commemorative stamps on June 16 in collaboration with the Korea Post of the Ministry of Science and ICT.”

Commemorative stamps from Korea Post are typically issued to honor nationally significant events or figures. While it is rare for living individuals other than the president to be featured, BLACKPINK has become the first K-pop female artist to achieve this honor.

The collection consists of 10 different stamps, capturing 10 years of musical history through images of BLACKPINK’s album jackets. A commemorative stamp packet will also be released, featuring portraits and key stage images to increase its collectible value.

The stamps and packets will be available starting June 16 at general post offices nationwide and via the internet post office. Before that, online pre-sales will take place from 7 PM on the 12th until midnight on the 15th. International fans can access pre-sales through the YG SELECT English, Japanese, and Chinese malls, as well as the English website of the post office.

YG stated, “Fans will be able to experience the time and musical moments BLACKPINK has walked through in a new form. We hope these stamps will be a precious gift that BLINKs around the world can cherish for a long time.”

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently set a new K-pop milestone with their 3rd mini album [DEADLINE]. They broke the record for first-week sales for a K-pop girl group with 1,774,577 copies (according to Hanteo Chart). Additionally, the title track ‘GO’ successfully entered the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 for the 11th and 12th times respectively, setting a new record for the most chart-ins by a K-pop female artist.
