NEXZ has reached a new career high in first-week sales with their first comeback of 2026, the 2nd single ‘Mmchk’!

Released on the 27th of last month, the boy group’s second single album ‘Mmchk’ recorded 444,730 copies sold in its first week according to Hanteo Chart, breaking their own previous record. This marks a growth of approximately 277% compared to their debut single ‘Ride the Vibe’. Additionally, they topped the Circle Chart Weekly Retail Album Chart from April 26 to May 2, 2026.
During their first week of promotions for ‘Mmchk’, NEXZ captivated fans with their powerful stage presence and the delightful synergy between the seven members: Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Soken, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki, drawing in many new fans.
From Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on April 30 to SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on May 3, they grabbed viewers’ attention with visually stunning ‘Mmchk’ performances. As a group of “born dancers” who have mastered various genres since childhood, including breaking, hip-hop, pop, jazz, house, and locking, the seven members showcased a harmonious yet distinct performance. On the 2nd, they further impressed fans by releasing a dance practice video for ‘Mmchk’ on their official YouTube channel, showing the true value of the NEXZ-style performance.
Their appearances in web content and variety shows are also receiving great responses. Fans are loving their quirky and adorable group dynamic in ‘Idol Human Theater’, the sweet ASMR talk time ‘Tingle Salon’ featuring Yuu and Soken, their high-energy preview of ‘Mmchk’ on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs’, and their own original content depicting the office life of six new employees at CEO Tomoya’s MYP Entertainment.
Furthermore, the ‘Mmchk’ performance challenges featuring JYP artists such as Stray Kids I.N, ITZY Ryujin, NiziU Maya, NMIXX Haewon, and KickFlip Minje, along with other industry colleagues, are garnering high view counts and creating a huge buzz.
