On the verge of surpassing 100,000 first-week sales for the first time since debut!

LUCY (Shin Yechan, Choi Sangyeop, Cho Wonsang, Shin Kwangil) is achieving remarkable results following the release of their second full-length album ‘Childish’ on the 29th of last month. Their album sales, in particular, have seen a significant jump. As of the 3rd, the fourth day since release, they have sold approximately 98,000 copies (based on Hanteo Chart), putting them right on the edge of breaking the 100,000 mark for first-week sales.
‘Childish’ garnered huge anticipation as it is the first full-group album released in about one year and eight months since member Shin Kwangil’s discharge from military service. Proving the hype, the album surpassed 80,000 copies in just three days, easily beating their previous personal best from the 6th mini album ‘와장창’ (approximately 65,000 copies). With the first week not yet over, final first-week sales are expected to climb even higher.
The response to the title track ‘전체관람가’ is also heating up. The song has successfully entered the real-time charts on Genie and Bugs. The music video surpassed 3 million views within three days of release and ranked 3rd among the most popular music videos on YouTube on the 30th of last month. Additionally, as of the 3rd, it proved its popularity by ranking 1st in the domestic trending music category on YouTube.
The popularity is further boosted by their challenges. A wide range of artists from various genres, including Ha Hyunsang, 10CM, SEVENTEEN’s DK, ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Taerae, ITZY’s Lia, IVE’s Liz, and N.Flying’s Yoo Hweesung, have participated in the challenge to the sound of LUCY’s performance, drawing enthusiastic reactions.
LUCY is carrying this momentum into their largest-scale concert yet. They will hold their solo concert ‘ISLAND’ on the 16th and 17th at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Entering the KSPO DOME for the first time since their debut, LUCY plans to solidify their presence as a representative K-band with an expanded scale and powerful band performance.
Following their domestic activities, LUCY will meet global fans with a solo concert in Taipei on June 20.
