Previously, Kim Dong-wan mentioned a message from a childhood friend who asked, “Why do people hate you so much these days? You were always like that.” To this, Kim Dong-wan explained, “It’s not that I’ve changed because I suddenly have more time or because my personality changed with age.” He added, “I was just able to hide it moderately when I was busy and tried to stay quiet within large projects.”
He also hinted at a new beginning, saying, “Recently, I received an offer that is more than I deserve. I’m actually not sure why it had to be me. I feel suspicious and scared.” He continued, “Thinking that this might be the last hand reached out to me in my life, I plan to return with a somewhat combative face once again.”
Kim Dong-wan has previously expressed his strong opinions on various social issues on SNS. In particular, he faced backlash for arguing in favor of legalizing prostitution and defending MC Ding Dong during a controversy involving the assault of a female BJ.
More recently, he shared a netizen’s comment regarding broadcaster Yu Tung, who has experienced eight marriages and divorces, which stated, “There’s no need to curse. Everyone lives their own life,” agreeing that “no one’s life can be discussed carelessly.”
