Park Eun-bin Returns with a Twist! Quirkiness and Purity Collide in Netflix’s ‘Wonderfools’

The Netflix series ‘Wonderfools’, releasing on the 15th, tells the story of four people in Haeseong City who unexpectedly gain superpowers in late 1999. Once ordinary citizens, they now struggle to protect the peace of their town against threatening villains.

The show promises hilarious chemistry as she follows the telekinetic ‘superpower senior’ Lee Un-jeong (Cha Eun-woo), calling him “Sabu” (master). With her puppy-like brightness and blunt way of speaking, she delivers a fresh charm that differs from her previous characters.

Explaining why she chose the project, Park Eun-bin shared, “I thought the script was incredibly imaginative when I first saw it.” She added, “Eun-chae is a character with a simple and honest way of thinking, so I had a lot of fun acting. I think viewers will enjoy following along too.”

Director Yoo In-sik reunites with Park Eun-bin after their success with ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’. Director Yoo praised her, saying, “While working on ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, I felt that Park Eun-bin is an actress for whom nothing is impossible.” He added, “I had full confidence that she could handle a genre like ‘Wonderfools’. She is an actress with an outstanding sense of comedy, boldness, and courage.”
